Ingelsrud scout-centre
Welcome to international wilderness-camp at Ingelsrud scout-centre: Go the Norway 04.
We have the pleasure of inviting you and your troop to an unforgettable week of wilderness camping in Norway, about 100 kilometres east of Oslo in the community of Eidskog. Ingelsrud scout-centre is situated in the midst of superb wilderness terrain, with forests, lakes and rivers, which stretches all the way down to Veneren in Sweden.
The jamborette will open July 30. Your troop may enter the site one day earlier. The closing of the comp will be in the evening August 7.
Home hospitality is offered before or after the comp. if you are interested in home-hospitality; please indicate this in the preliminary registration form.
During the jamborette, your troop will be placed in groups with troops from Norway and other countries. Through several exciting activities, we will mix your troop and patrols. During the overnight hike, your patrol or troops will walk together with a Norwegian patrol.
The Norwegian Guide and Scout Association welcome you to the international Jamborette in Norway 2004 at Ingelsrud scout-centre.

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES:
The program will focus on environment protection and outdoor activities. The camping is a paradise for playing, swimming and canoeing, and the surrounding terrain is excellent for hiking experience. The program will be varied and suited for troops, patrols and individual guides and scouts, including:
- Raft-building
- Baking your own bread or pizza
- Being a blacksmith for a day and make your own knife
- Bouldering and rappelling
- Sporting and sport competitions, such as volleyball, soccer etc.
- Use of map and compass while walking in the most exciting terrain
- Obstacle course
- Campfires
- Religious services
How to get to Ingelsrud
Ingelsrud scout-centre can be reached by car, or by train/bus. The distance from Oslo is 100 kilometres and from Gardermoen International Airport 80 kilometres. We may help you to find the most suitable transportation for you and your troop.

Bring your own equipment.
Technical specifications
The scout-centre has satisfactory facilities for water supply, toilets and garbage collection. Food will be delivered once a day. Each patrol or troop prepares their own meals. During the jamborette there will be first aid personnel present and co-operation is established with local medical doctors and hospital.
